Lal Jose's film Spanish Masala has started its shoot in Spain. An Austrian model from Vienna, Daniela Zacherl, is playing Dileep's heroine.

The story line is about a Malayali man falling in love with a Spanish girl. The entire shoot of the film will take place in Spain.

The shoot will coincide with the La Tomatina festival in Spain. The famous Spanish bull fight will also be shot for it.

Benny P Nayarambalam has scripted the film, which will have music by Lal Jose's favourite Vidyasagar, with Rafeeq Ahmed writing the lyrics.

Lokanathan will be in charge of the cinematography. Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon will also make special appearances.

Spanish Masala will be produced by Noushad under the banner of Big Screen Productions.
