Sevenes Malayalam Movie postponed to Thiruvonam

Joshiy’s eagerly awaited Sevens with Boban Kunchacko and six other comparatively newcomers were supposed to release on Ramzan day (Aug 31).

The film has now been postponed by Play House it’s distributors to Thiru Onam day (Sep 8).

The first copy of the film is getting ready and the censor will take place next week. Sevenes (it is spelled in English using an extra ‘e’ by director who believes in numerology) is a sports film written by Iqbal Kuttipuram and directed by Joshiy with Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Rejith Menon, Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, Rima Kallingal, Bhama and Nadia Moidu in pivotal roles.

The buzz is that like the recent Traffic and Salt & Pepper, Sevenes will also be a trendsetter.

The film centres around seven young men, passionate about sevens football, a kind of football popular in Malabar.
